I have been shooting photography for over 20 years. Today I shoot in Digital Format using the latest camera and computer technology. However the computer is not a crutch, there is no
substitute for good photography, composition and artistic expression. I reside in Boulder, CO and travel to Reno / Lake Tahoe, NV often and do destination travel shoots. Most of my work is location
shooting however I do have a studio. I enjoy the outdoors; hiking, skiing, cycling and backpacking are at the top of the list. Yosemite National Park is where I go to recharge.
What I like to shoot… I enjoy shooting a myriad of subjects and events. I like the action of automobile races, the fun and innocence of children at play, live music, architecture, portraits and
landscape. Media and graphic design are also a possibility from comp cards to album art.
On Weddings… My style is more photojournalistic than anything else and capturing the moment is what I enjoy. Notwithstanding the birth of a child, I believe getting married is one of the happiest
times of our lives. Capturing the delight and energy surrounding one of life’s most joyous events is something that I seem to take to naturally. Unlike many photographers I am an extrovert; I like to
have fun in life, make people laugh and liven up a party. This works well for Wedding and Portrait photography, not a necessity in Landscape or pure photojournalism.
